Zach worked at the Hurricane Research Division of the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration for 10 years, where he learned the art of scientific writing. He went to the University of Wisconsin - Madison and got a Bachelors of Science in Atmospheric and Oceanic Science, and completed all the courses needed for a PhD as well as passed the PhD qualifier. Many years ago he obtained all the cryptocurrency he could off faucets until he accumulated 0.1 Bitcoin. During this time he also ran his own crypto news site called The Cryptocurrency Times. Further, he created programs that used the Bitcoin Blockchain. In the past few years he has written well over 1,000 articles about Blockchain and cryptocurrency, as well as recorded hundreds of daily crypto news podcasts.
